What is the Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library?
Inspired by her father’s inability to read and write Dolly started her Imagination Library in 1995 for the children within her home county. Today, her program spans five countries and gifts over 2 million free books each month to children around the world.
It's a free book gifting program devoted to inspiring a love of reading in the hearts of children everywhere. Each month, enrolled children receive a high-quality, age-appropriate book in the mail.
How to enrol my child?
If your child resides within the Liverpool Plains LGA, and was born after the 1st January 2022, they are eligible to receive a high-quality book each month. To enrol your child or find more information about this please see this LINK.
How to support the Dolly Parton Imagination Library?
The initiative is 100% supported by local businesses, organisations and individuals. To provide this initiative we rely on continued support!
A donation of $108 will allow one child to receive a monthly book for a year.
